BabyBolt is a family business.
Becka designs and sews, Jeremy is the graphic designer, and our five year old son is the inspiration. We work hard to find unique fabrics; at BabyBolt you will find designs that combine new, upcycled/reclaimed, vintage, and imported fabrics - resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind or limited-run clothing and accessories. All fabrics and shirts are pre-washed in eco-friendly, perfume/dye-free detergent ensuring minimal shrinkage and a good fit. Our new line of kids tshirts and onesies feature our original designs screen-printed locally by our pals at Squid Ink Kollective on organic cotton with eco friendly water based inks. We use American Apparel for our shirts, onesies, and hoodies; they are the highest quality, offer the nicest fit, and are made in the USA ethically. Everything is made with wear and tear in mind, and built to last and live on as hand-me-downs when outgrown. All wearables are machine-washable, just turn the shirts inside out before washing and drying.
Good design and practicality are very important to us. In addition to BabyBolt's crazy-cute clothes, you'll also find plenty of functional items to make life easier for parents and kiddos. Pacifier Bibs keep drool in check and the pacifier within reach. Crayon and Colored Pencil Rolls keep your little artist's tools on hand whether inspiration strikes at a restaurant, car trip, or the doctor's office. Welcome, Baby! The shirts are from American Apparel which tend to run on the small side, so to be safe, order a size up.
As always, all of our fabrics and shirts have been washed in eco friendly detergent and machine dried prior to sewing assuring a good fit and minimal shrinkage.
Love and Care:
Machine wash cold inside out, tumble dry, low iron if needed. All of our baby and children clothing is created with wear and tear in mind and have been tested at home and on the playground prior to listing in the shop. A little bit of love and your handmade item will last and can live on as a cool hand-me-down.
